| A view of the two lighthouses on Cape Henry as Night Heron exits Chesapeake Bay and enters the Atlantic Ocean. The black-and-white lighthouse on the left is the New Cape Henry Lighthouse, a cast-iron structure that was built in 1881. The smaller lighthouse to the right is the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, a masonry structure that was completed in 1792. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in the United States and is a historic landmark (though it is no longer functional). Both lighthouses are on the grounds of Fort Story, an active U. S. Army base. |

Two other Caribbean 1500 boats also entering the ocean. I took this picture just after taking the lighthouse picture. |
